Maryscott Owen Glasgow, Ed.D.

Dr. Glasgow's 30 years of experience in the education profession include 10 years of classroom teaching at the middle school level and 2 years as a research assistant, diagnostician, and clinician at the University of Mississippi. She joined BestQuest after serving in a tenured position as an Associate Professor of Teacher Education and Coordinator of Middle Childhood Education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) for 17 years. She has won the Mississippi ETV Researcher's Award, taught hundreds of pre-adolescent students and thousands of pre-service and/or in-service teachers, authored or co-authored 10 grants, 22 published reports, and 7 articles, and made over 75 local, state and national presentations to professional organizations, educators, and parents.

She is a member of the Membership Committee of the International Education Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi; a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary teaching society; and was included in the 1998 and 2002 editions of Who's Who Among Teachers in America. She is a cum laude graduate of Delta State University in Cleveland, MS, where she received her B.S.E. and M.Ed. degrees. Dr. Glasgow also holds an Ed.D. from the University of Mississippi.

Glasgow was the Project Director for both Algebra'scool and Math'scool.
